Biography

Léo Hamu has been a prominent figure in Brasília's culinary landscape since the 1980s when he was part of the family-run restaurant, Lagash. Hailing from Goiás and with Syrian-Lebanese roots, Léo's culinary journey is as diverse as it is rich. Although trained as a zootechnician, his heart always belonged to the flavors and aromas of the kitchen.

Today, Léo resides on a farm where he crafts a range of preserves and charcuterie products. His passion for authentic, homegrown produce led him to showcase his farm's offerings at the traditional CEASA-DF Saturday market. What started as a local treasure soon gained widespread acclaim, and now, these coveted products have found their way to iCook.

For iCook, Léo brings a plethora of delights. Beyond his extensive range of antipastos and preserves, he offers specialties like canned meat, the renowned country sausage, sliced bacon, smoked pork loin, pancetta, a variety of pâtés, flavored farofas, assorted preserves, and even a comprehensive kit for the classic feijoada. Each product is a testament to Léo's dedication to quality, authenticity, and the art of traditional cooking.
