Biography

Marco Espinoza's gastronomic journey began in the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a teenager, he moved to this culinary hub and honed his skills at the esteemed Argentine Institute of Gastronomy (I.A.G.). However, destiny had other plans for him. In 2010, Marco arrived in Brazil to participate in a Peruvian food festival, and the country's vibrant culinary scene captivated him so much that he decided to make it his home.

Since then, Marco has been on a culinary spree, opening a plethora of restaurants and establishing a significant presence in the Brazilian food industry. Currently, he oversees more than 13 operations spread across three major cities. His ventures include the renowned Taypá and Sagrado Mar in Brasília; El Chaco in São Paulo; Lima Cocina Peruana, boasting four units in Rio de Janeiro; and Cantón, which has branches in both Rio, Brasília, and São Paulo.

With his innovative approach to Peruvian cuisine and an undeniable passion for gastronomy, Marco Espinoza has truly become the shining Peruvian Star in the Brazilian culinary sky.
